Requirements
- Strong understanding of conceptual and logical data modeling principles and methodologies.
- Experience translating business processes and workflows into structured data models.
- Prior experience in taxonomy development, including organizing business terms, vocabularies, and glossaries.
- Hands-on experience in metadata management, with Collibra experience highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise information architecture practices.
- Understanding of API-based, service-oriented, or event-driven architectures is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual and logical data models aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards.
- Analyze business workflows and translate them into structured data representations and information models.
- Define, document, and maintain taxonomy structures, including business terminology, vocabularies, and glossaries.
- Support metadata management initiatives, ensuring consistency and governance of enterprise data assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with data architecture solutions.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of data governance frameworks and standards.
- Support integration considerations for APIs, services, and event-driven architectures where applicable.
