Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Proven experience building and leading security operations, threat detection, and incident response programs.
- Strong background in designing and implementing cybersecurity controls, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading SOC teams, security engineering functions, or enterprise security operations.
- Deep understanding of risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in complex, fast-changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including team development, coaching, and performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee enterprise security operations and security engineering functions, ensuring protection of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Define and execute cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives and evolving threat landscapes.
- Manage threat detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities, improving SOC effectiveness and response readiness.
- Develop and maintain security architecture, controls, and operational standards across IT environments.
- Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk assessment programs to ensure operational resilience.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify risks, define priorities, and strengthen security governance.
- Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics to measure cybersecurity effectiveness.
- Guide security integration efforts during acquisitions and support enterprise-wide security compliance initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop security teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
