Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Experience with middleware technologies such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Practical knowledge of APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Instana, or Introscope.
- Experience configuring monitoring for Python, Node.js, and web servers like Apache.
- Ability to write automation scripts using Shell scripting, Ansible, or BladeLogic.
- Familiarity with container and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Working knowledge of platform operations, upgrades, and production support processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-availability environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain APM monitoring solutions across Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and web/middleware environments.
- Support and administer APM platforms including upgrades, patching, and vendor coordination.
- Implement and enhance observability features such as end-user monitoring, transaction tracing, and MQ monitoring.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and support resolution of performance-related incidents.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, system administrators, and development teams to ensure effective instrumentation.
- Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management of APM tools.
- Support automation initiatives for monitoring deployment and configuration management.
