Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience designing backend architectures and APIs
- Proven ability to lead architectural discussions and make pragmatic technical decisions
- Practical experience building and reviewing real production-grade backend systems
- Strong experience working directly with clients and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience with scalable distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Transparent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience across the full software lifecycle - from prototyping to strategic architectural direction
- Strong command of written and spoken English (C1 minimum)
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable backend and API architectures for cloud-native and hybrid environments
- Define system architecture with strong focus on scalability, maintainability, resilience, and security
- Design public and internal APIs, including versioning strategy, contracts, backward compatibility, and integration standards
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams during technical discovery, estimation, and solution planning
- Work closely with engineering teams to solve complex backend challenges and improve technical standards
- Drive architectural decisions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs
- Collaborate directly with clients and domain experts to clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical proposals, and design decisions
- Support engineering excellence through improvements in tooling, development practices, and platform standards
- Explore and apply AI-powered engineering tools to enhance productivity and system capabilities
