Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Minimum 3 years focused on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience supporting federal contracting environments (DoD, DHS, or civilian).
  • Hands-on experience delivering within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM plus at least one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, or ITAM).
  • Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
  • Skilled in process mapping tools like Visio or LucidChart.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client-facing workshops and structured discovery sessions to surface, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Convert mission-level needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
  • Perform gap assessments comparing legacy workflows against ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Own backlog quality and ensure items satisfy the Definition of Ready.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Agile Coaches to validate requirements and define delivery processes.
  • Ensure all designs conform to federal IT requirements including Section 508 and FISMA/NIST security controls.
  • Own UAT planning and execution including authoring test scripts and coordinating sessions.
  • Produce federal-standard documentation including SOPs and end-user guides.
