- Deep security domain fluency in frameworks, controls, HIPAA, financial-specific obligations, and risk management
- Technical judgment to challenge architectural decisions
- Proven track record of transforming security programs
- Influence without authority across senior security, engineering, compliance, and executive stakeholders
- Outcomes orientation focused on risk reduction and program maturity
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, prioritize, and drive security program maturity
- Build a prioritized, multi-quarter roadmap that sequences risk reduction against business reality
- Establish governance, ownership, and metrics
- Translate security requirements into engineering practice, such as shift-left practices and threat modeling
- Remove blockers between security intent and engineering execution
- Translate HIPAA, financial controls, and governance requirements into resilient programs
- Shape the AI security framework, principles, and review processes
- Drive alignment across security, engineering, compliance, legal, and finance
