Requirements
- Deep professional experience writing production services from ideation to operation at scale.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals (replication, consistency, partitioning, fault tolerance).
- Demonstrated experience designing/operating systems for high-traffic or multi-tenant environments.
- Professional experience building and consuming gRPC/protobuf APIs.
- Strong database skills (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL) including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with large-scale CI/CD systems and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Comfort working with Kubernetes and containerized deployment patterns.
- Experience with observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, logging, tracing).
- Familiarity with dependency injection patterns (e.g., Google Wire).
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed backend services in Go.
- Design APIs and service contracts for enterprise operators.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and frontend engineering teams.
- Drive scalability and reliability improvements for high-availability environments.
- Engage directly with large enterprise customers to translate requirements into solutions.
- Hire and develop best-in-class engineers.
- Participate in weekday 12h x 5d and weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations.
- Advocate for customer needs throughout the development lifecycle.
