Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of engineering management experience, leading teams of 5+ engineers.
- Professional experience with Go, TypeScript, Svelte or similar.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GCP, and modern DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- Proven ability to work directly with internal/external stakeholders.
- Production experience with Elixir or strong interest in adopting it.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Collaborative mindset and strong ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5 to 8 engineers.
- Own hiring and partner with the CTO to attract and retain talent.
- Stay hands-on with architecture discussions and code reviews.
- Guide the team through migration from Go/TypeScript to Elixir.
- Act as the primary engineering contact for external partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align priorities.
- Own end-to-end delivery and project scope.
- Manage the team's on-call rotation.
