Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related field preferred
  • 2+ years experience in administrative support, preferably in insurance
  • Understanding of group insurance business
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM
  • Strong communication (written & oral) and proofreading skills
  • High level of personal accountability and self-direction
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for new sale quotes
  • Interact with underwriting for package and group benefit quotations
  • Create and develop sales proposals and presentation materials
  • Coordinate implementation processes to improve client net promoter scores
  • Manage prospect/broker inquiries and problem-solving
  • Prepare and send application documentation
  • Maintain and report on business data in Salesforce.com
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses using enterprise tools
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external teams
  • Participate in project work for the market
