Requirements
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English.
- Proven track record of successfully deploying and managing large-scale Node.js applications in production environments.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Node.js projects.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Pulumi.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to embrace AI and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation and maintenance of Webflow’s build system, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee the configuration and management of multiple development environments, providing guidance to ensure consistency across teams and environments.
- Define and enforce development processes and best practices to improve efficiency and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Spearhead the deployment strategy for production environments, implementing robust rollback mechanisms and monitoring solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the DevOps team, fostering their growth and knowledge in DevOps principles and technologies.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies.
- Participate in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs and leading internal hackathon teams.
