About Able
Able is pioneering the next chapter of software development, driving an AI-native approach to build and deliver solutions for diverse industries. Founded in 2012 as an engineering and product hub for early-stage startups, Able now transforms complex challenges into meaningful value. You will help partners leverage AI across media, finance, toys, and healthcare. They streamline development cycles by 40% and increase coding velocity by up to 55% using their innovative methods. Join a team shaping the future of applied AI.
How We Work
You will join a team of curious, thoughtful people who care deeply about their craft. Able operates with a builder mindset, fostering an environment where growth and learning are paramount. They invest in your development through AI training, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on experimentation. This encourages everyone to evolve alongside rapidly advancing technology. Collaboration is key; you will build software while nurturing inclusive and respectful relationships with your colleagues. The team is open about shortcomings, eager to grow, and always striving to close knowledge gaps. You will thrive in an atmosphere of continuous learning and mutual support.
Engineering at Able
Engineers at Able are solving challenging problems at the intersection of AI and software development. They are building robust AI systems, from architecting Graph ETL pipelines with Neo4j to processing massive, messy datasets for knowledge graphs. You will manage high-volume data streams using Kafka and implement CDC patterns to ensure real-time graph reflections. Other engineers are unlocking visual data by building pipelines that "read" complex documents using Vision-Language Models. They orchestrate intelligence with LangChain, handle native PDF processing, and apply prompt engineering for accurate model interpretation. Data engineers design and maintain scalable data models, build and operate ETL/ELT pipelines, and define data capture standards. They use modern data warehouses like Snowflake and BigQuery, orchestrating workflows with tools like Airflow. This team is at the forefront of applied AI, crafting solutions for diverse, complex data challenges.
