Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing human-centered products.
- Exceptional visual design expertise and portfolio with motion design principles.
- Demonstrated AI fluency with active use of tools like Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, and LLM-assisted workflows.
- Strong knowledge of iOS and Android design patterns.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
- Experience designing interfaces for digital products with a focus on accessibility.
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven track record of mentoring and cultivating a culture of design excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for Headspace's most complex product areas.
- Define and drive design vision across multi-quarter workstreams.
- Influence roadmap decisions and product strategy with evidence-based design rationale.
- Lead and conduct design research including generative studies, contextual inquiry, and usability evaluations.
- Apply behavioral design principles to support habit formation and reduce friction.
- Bring AI fluency to the design process for prototyping and research synthesis.
- Mentor and elevate designers across levels.
