Requirements

- 2+ years in a leadership or engineering management capacity.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Engineering (AWS/GCP), Databricks, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data pipelines and processing systems using modern cloud services.
- Establish and enforce data engineering best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Drive the technical vision and roadmap for data infrastructure and platforms.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Support pre-sales engagements, including technical solutioning and proposal development.
