Requirements
- Solid professional experience in Java backend development
- Strong experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, clean code, and software design principles
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot or similar Java backend frameworks
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Git and standard development workflows
- Ability to work autonomously and drive complex technical tasks independently
- Comfortable working in large, complex organisations with multiple teams and dependencies
- Professional working proficiency in English
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services and components using Java
- Contribute to the evolution and unification of enterprise data platform ecosystems
- Support the migration and transition of existing components into the target platform
- Analyse existing applications, integrations, dependencies and data flows
- Collaborate with multiple technical teams across a large organisational structure
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Participate in technical refinement, estimation and solution design discussion
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve backend issues in distributed systems
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
- Communicate progress, risks and blockers proactively
