Requirements
- Associate degree or higher, or certified/licensed professional (CMA or LPN).
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medicare Advantage Quality data abstraction and patient outreach.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with management, co-workers, and customers.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for periodic travel.
- Must maintain internet connection with minimum 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on QI measures, services, and initiatives.
- Conduct patient outreach to educate on preventive care and facilitate treatment adherence.
- Collect and abstract quality data from EMR, claims, and other sources.
- Manage daily workflows across EMR systems, payer portals, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ensure documentation and work output comply with NCQA/HEDIS specifications.
- Prioritize tasks to meet various quality reporting deadlines.
- Communicate quality performance, barriers, and improvement strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in departmental and payer-sponsored training and support calls.
