Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
- Current licensure in at least three states including MA (required), and NY, GA, IL, or TX
- Willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical or counseling experience
- Experience in metabolic health or weight management preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence
- Comfort with new technologies
- Reliable high-speed internet and phone access
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nutrition counseling using motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies
- Support chronic disease management and prevention through evidence-based nutrition care plans
- Communicate with patients in a supportive and nonjudgmental manner
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, health coaches, and clinicians
- Participate in team meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Adhere to clinical policies, HIPAA regulations, and standards of care
- Engage with new technologies and evolving workflows
