Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, probes).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Pulumi with Python preferred.
- Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Docker image build, tagging, scanning, publishing, and runtime troubleshooting.
- Scripting or programming experience with Python and Bash.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code with an emphasis on reusable, reviewed, and documented infrastructure components.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Develop and maintain Ansible roles, inventories, and playbooks for configuration tasks.
- Support containerized application delivery using Docker/OCI images and Kubernetes-based deployment patterns.
- Collaborate with software engineers to standardize application build, packaging, deployment, and release processes.
- Automate repetitive operational and release tasks.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications and infrastructure.
- Support cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Participate in incident response and production support as part of an on-call rotation.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
