Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.
- Specific experience in the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record in client-facing or advisory services.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and complex contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior-level stakeholders in matrixed environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commitment to client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate strategically while overseeing execution details.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic category leader and advisor for assigned healthcare clients.
- Develop and manage category strategies, including market analysis and risk assessments.
- Lead annual and multi-year category planning with defined savings targets.
- Orchestrate delivery of sourcing and contract execution through a centralized COE.
- Support complex negotiations and high-value supplier contracts.
- Establish and track KPIs to report measurable value and cost savings to clients.
- Drive operational transformation and cross-functional leadership.
