Requirements
- Quantitative background (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Physics)
- 6+ years in an analytical role
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code)
- Experience with distributed data systems (Spark, BigQuery, Airflow)
- Experience shipping production code
- Strong async communication skills (Loom, Slack, Notion)
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Domain curiosity in blockchain, fraud, money laundering, or cybercrime
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end attribution for a risk category
- Identify high-impact targets and build algorithms including heuristics, ML models, and AI agents
- Ship production-quality code and data pipelines
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to translate customer and GTM needs
- Navigate network, on-chain, and protocol layers to uncover patterns
- Drive measurable outcomes in tracing and preventing illicit funds
- Execute high-stakes projects on tight timeframes
