Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of total experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Golang.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Extensive experience designing data platforms and real-time streaming pipelines.
- Proven experience executing data platform migrations and managing technical debt.
- Experience managing SLAs for critical production processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a group of data engineers.
- Own the strategic design and evolution of the Common Event Bus (CEB) architecture.
- Manage technical debt and guide the team through migrations from legacy frameworks.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product to translate business needs into data models.
- Perform high-impact code reviews and provide technical guidance.
- Contribute directly to development work and troubleshooting.
