Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
- 6+ years experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Operations Research.
- 2+ years experience in engineering management or technical leadership of DS/ML teams.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native MLOps tools (SageMaker, Airflow).
- Understanding of ML techniques like XGBoost, PyTorch, and Transformers.
- Knowledge of optimization methods such as MIP, Linear, and Stochastic programming.
- Track record of shipping complex DS/ML/Optimization systems.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a squad of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Optimization Specialists.
- Define and drive technical roadmaps for ML projects.
- Facilitate strategy selection for Data Science and Optimization approaches.
- Oversee architecture and implementation of cloud-native Python services.
- Define and execute MLOps strategy including automation and monitoring.
- Implement and maintain SDLC processes tailored for ML (Agile/Scrum).
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Data Engineering teams.
- Present scientific findings and trade-offs to executive leadership.
