Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.
- Strong background in financial services, fintech, technology, crypto, or regulated industries.
- Direct experience managing multi-market or regional PR strategies in Asia (Japan/Korea).
- Excellent media instincts with strong storytelling and message framing skills.
- High level of regulatory awareness and risk sensitivity.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining execution-focused.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Confident advisor to senior leaders and spokespersons.
- Fluency in English is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications strategy for Asia.
- Prioritize APAC as core growth markets to enhance media engagement and brand credibility.
- Adapt messaging for restricted or smaller markets focusing on compliance and reputation.
- Build and expand relationships with top-tier business, financial, and tech media.
- Position spokespeople as thought leaders on crypto, blockchain, and financial innovation.
- Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure external communications are risk-appropriate.
- Act as a communications partner during issues management or crisis scenarios.
- Lead PR planning for product launches, partnerships, and corporate announcements.
- Manage local PR agencies and provide senior-level counsel to internal stakeholders.
- Track PR performance metrics and deliver monthly and quarterly reports.
