- Autonomous Practice Status
- Minimum of 2 years experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
- Experience with Google Suite and Electronic Medical Record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide medication management.
- Build connection and trust with patients and families to support engagement in treatment.
- Monitor patient progress against care goals and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals for integrated treatment planning.
- Provide consultation and education to families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and oversee diagnostic testing results.
