Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience as a people manager of data science teams (up to 10 scientists).
- Expertise in causal inference and A/B testing experimentation.
- Experience in metric definition, governance, and product strategy.
- Proven ability to drive product strategy through analytics, ideally in consumer tech or marketplaces.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for hands-on analysis.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude).
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading initiatives for analytics self-service.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists.
- Serve as a thought-partner to cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing.
- Quantify incremental lift of marketing spend and develop Predictive LTV models.
- Establish measurement frameworks including experimental design and Causal inference.
- Ensure consistent metrics across the organization for campaign quality and ROI.
- Oversee data quality, ETLs, and reporting dashboards.
- Lead initiatives to enable analytics self-service capabilities.
