Responsibilities
- Process patient changes in insurance.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility requirements via phone or online.
- Obtain verbal or written authorization for medical treatment.
- Resolve billing account discrepancies and identify gaps in documentation.
- Answer inbound calls from patients regarding insurance updates.
- Coordinate with patients and branches to obtain required testing.
- Document account activity in systems.
- Ensure revenue is posted appropriately.
