Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Business Development or Sales Development within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record managing performance-driven teams, including coaching underperformers and workforce planning.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline generation, territory management, sales forecasting, and revenue performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce and sales analytics/reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with modern prospecting and engagement technologies.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people development skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, capable of making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives across multiple segments and territories throughout North America.
  • Drive team performance through rigorous KPI tracking, coaching, territory planning, and accountability frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain scalable onboarding, enablement, and career development programs.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams to execute demand generation initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and sales engagement platforms to analyze team performance.
  • Manage headcount planning, territory distribution, and performance management processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, discipline, and high achievement.
