Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related professional experience.
- Significant experience building iOS applications.
- Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns in iOS.
- Experience with iOS performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working in a self-driven, lean environment.
- Commitment to the Foundation's Mission and Values.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in delivery of medium complexity initiatives from technical discovery through delivery.
- Drive estimation and manage project scope.
- Improve mobile Wikipedia product experiences for a global, multilingual audience.
- Design and build accessible, adaptable, and scalable iOS components.
- Instrument features to enable data analysis by Product Analysts.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape pragmatic solutions.
- Identify high-impact technical opportunities and risks.
- Mentor engineers through code review, technical design, and pairing.
- Support hiring and onboarding efforts.
