Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
Prior experience in orthopedics or diagnostic imaging highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of comfort using diagnostic software and database entry systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate PennHIP radiographs for adequate quality and proper positioning.
Perform routine interpretation of radiographs for clinical assessment of hip quality.
Analyze and coordinate hand-calculated distraction index measurements with AI-generated data.
Generate comprehensive and accurate diagnostic imaging reports.
Evaluate radiographs to determine the proficiency of new PennHIP veterinarians.
Communicate directly with submitting clinics regarding radiographic technique.
Discuss complex cases with staff radiologists.
Accurately enter data into breed-specific registries.
