Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or SRE-related roles
- Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Strong Linux systems administration background
- Proven experience designing and supporting production-grade, customer-facing systems
- Strong automation and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
- Experience working independently in a remote, distributed environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Responsibilities
- Own the design, administration, and optimization of ProScore’s AWS infrastructure
- Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems
- Lead infrastructure automation efforts using infrastructure-as-code
- Define and enforce operational standards, monitoring strategies, and alerting
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews
- Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Implement and oversee AWS security best practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point
- Maintain clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
