Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
- Deep proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Strong Kubernetes expertise, including EKS and Helm.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking and container services.
- Proficiency in Go or Python.
- Solid understanding of reverse proxies, API gateways, or load balancers.
- Experience designing/maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitLab preferred.
- Experience with container image security practices.
- Strong operational instincts and incident response experience.
- 1 year of experience leveraging AI-based workflows.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, upgrade, and extend a high-performance reverse proxy including Go/Python automation.
- Design and implement Terraform/Terragrunt modules for EKS, IAM, VPC, and ECR.
- Manage multi-region, multi-cluster EKS deployments via GitOps.
- Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline templates.
- Build tooling for container patching, AMI rotation, and air-gapped sync.
- Manage Datadog SLOs, monitors, and dashboards via Terraform.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production and GovCloud environments.
- Research and adopt internal developer productivity tools.
- Mentor team through code reviews, architecture discussions, and runbooks.
- Champion AI tools for infrastructure design and quality.
