Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Education, or related discipline.
  • Proven track record as a skilled writer and editor across press releases, thought leadership, and social media.
  • Experience building and managing education partnerships, community liaison programs, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Established media relationships and hands-on experience with proactive pitching and media outreach.
  • Strong command of social media strategy and platform management.
  • Ability to manage a complex, multi-workstream portfolio independently.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders including elected officials and educators.
  • Develop and manage education partnership programs connecting company mission to student learning.
  • Draft and distribute press releases and media advisories; manage media outreach.
  • Write and edit marketing content including blog posts, articles, and award nominations.
  • Oversee LinkedIn social media strategy, content development, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate with Real Estate, Development, Legal, and HR teams on engagement and workforce alignment.
  • Monitor media coverage and competitive announcements to inform communications strategy.
