- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7-10 years of legal experience, law firm and in-house strongly preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first, global tech company.
- B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate business and technical risk clearly.
- Strong understanding of consumer protection laws.
- Strong understanding of global data privacy laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Advise product and engineering teams on compliance and risk mitigation.
- Embed the Product Legal team into the product development process.
- Review product documentation and designs for launches and enhancements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments.
- Design and implement scalable legal processes, policies, and automation.
- Develop legal playbooks and conduct team training.
- Review marketing materials and communications for product launches.
- Work with Privacy and Commercial legal teams on shared objectives.
