Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience dedicated to the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven experience in federal contracting (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies)
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, etc)
  • Strong experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar tools
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
  • Collaborate with Agile Coach to design/distribute Agile processes and SOPs.
  • Review user stories/requirements for readiness in sprint planning.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context and best practices.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and data models.
  • Advise stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices and minimize technical debt.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Section 508 compliance and FISMA/NIST security controls.
  • Execute UAT plans and create federal-grade deliverables.
