Requirements
- 8+ years experience as a software engineer of SaaS applications
- Experience working on customer facing products
- Competency in Go, Javascript, React, and MySQL
- Competency with Kafka or other Event Sourcing Systems
- Direct involvement in shipping at least one production application
- Experience with monitoring, performance optimization, and technical documentation
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Experience deploying software utilizing AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Ability to drive automation in Test Automation, Github Runners, and CI/CD platforms
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team toward feature delivery
- Write production-grade code for well-scoped features
- Lead the application architecture decision making process
- Champion AI adoption across engineering and define best practices
- Build and operate AWS infrastructure
- Monitor and track performance and reliability of services
- Mentor other developers to increase team performance
- Participate in on-call rotation for production application support
