Requirements

  • Considerable experience in sales management, including recruiting, training, and mentoring.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales and revenue targets in the crop inputs space.
  • Established network within agriculture reseller networks, seed and crop protection sellers, and agronomic consultants.
  • Knowledge of sales methodology, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience introducing and selling product lines in new markets.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in the agricultural industry.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales professionals.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct annual/quarterly reviews.
  • Perform regular 1-on-1s to provide support and guidance on sales planning and pipeline management.
  • Conduct monthly ride-alongs to provide real-time coaching.
  • Meet or exceed team sales goals for nutrient efficiency product line.
  • Assist in deal strategy and tactics for closing deals.
  • Build and manage relationships with key dealers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to launch digital and field campaigns.
  • Work with Agronomy and Product Management to refine product positioning.
