Requirements
- Considerable experience in sales management, including recruiting, training, and mentoring.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales and revenue targets in the crop inputs space.
- Established network within agriculture reseller networks, seed and crop protection sellers, and agronomic consultants.
- Knowledge of sales methodology, tools, and techniques.
- Experience introducing and selling product lines in new markets.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, and Zoom.
- Comfort with ambiguity in the agricultural industry.
- Strong relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales professionals.
- Manage employee performance and conduct annual/quarterly reviews.
- Perform regular 1-on-1s to provide support and guidance on sales planning and pipeline management.
- Conduct monthly ride-alongs to provide real-time coaching.
- Meet or exceed team sales goals for nutrient efficiency product line.
- Assist in deal strategy and tactics for closing deals.
- Build and manage relationships with key dealers.
- Collaborate with Marketing to launch digital and field campaigns.
- Work with Agronomy and Product Management to refine product positioning.
