Requirements
- Proven track record in Product Management or technical operations.
- Experience in FinTech, Brokerage, or Payments platforms.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of brokerage or financial operations (settlements, reconciliations, client money, best execution).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Experience with broker-dealer platforms, clearing firms, or trading infrastructure.
- Proficiency with data analysis, system boundaries, and process mapping.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for Alpaca’s internal workflows and tooling.
- Drive root cause analysis and execute on high-risk operational problems (AML/KYC, reconciliations, corporate actions, tax reporting).
- Design systems using internal tooling, AI, and workflow orchestration to automate core workflows.
- Define clear success metrics and SLAs for internal tools.
- Design and manage the data framework for selecting strategic projects.
- Establish and enforce operational capacity standards.
- Drive Build vs. Buy evaluations for core platform components.
