Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or CS leadership.
  • Experience building or rebuilding an account management function.
  • Background in management consulting, B2B agency, info/coaching business, or SaaS.
  • Proven experience serving sophisticated buyers with $50K–$200K+ contract values.
  • Demonstrated ability to design operating models, playbooks, and retention frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading or growing a team.
  • Experience retaining a high-value client through difficult periods.
  • Ability to make decisions and move fast in ambiguous environments.
  • AI-native: thinks in systems, uses AI tools daily, and can map workflows.
  • High-agency, low-ego, and fast-moving professional.
  • Native or near-native fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the account management operating model (onboarding, retention, expansion, and escalation).
  • Build playbooks, metrics, and systems to enable the function to scale.
  • Define and move retention and expansion metrics on a weekly basis.
  • Hire, develop, and lead the account management team.
  • Bridge the gap between sales, delivery, and the client.
  • Carry a direct client load during the initial phase to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Retain and grow $100K+ accounts.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Provide structured feedback to the delivery team for product improvement.
