Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payment operations, healthcare administration, or related financial operations roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience with cross-functional team collaboration
- Strong background in claims management or healthcare payment workflows
- Hands-on experience with payment operations systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with tools such as ECHO payment systems, VBA, HEALTHpac, and QuickLink preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and manage operational risk
Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end payment operations, including check runs, register management, and execution across multiple systems
- Lead daily operational workflows, define KPIs and SLAs, and monitor performance
- Manage external vendor relationships for file transmissions, EOB creation, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with IT and internal teams to troubleshoot system issues and support incident response
- Partner with Finance on funding requests, reconciliation, and reporting
- Drive automation initiatives, reporting enhancements, and dashboard development
- Support acquisition integrations and ensure smooth operational transitions
- Maintain operational controls, SOP documentation, and team training
