Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare operations, or care delivery leadership roles.
- Proven success building and scaling clinical programs, ideally within digital health, telehealth, or virtual care environments.
- Strong leadership experience managing distributed or remote clinical teams in high-growth settings.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and day-to-day problem-solving.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing clinical quality metrics, reporting structures, and operational performance indicators.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to influence executive leaders, clinicians, healthcare partners, and operational teams effectively.
- Clinical experience or familiarity with cardiology, pulmonology, or cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation is highly preferred.
- Experience working with hospital systems, health plans, value-based care models, or CMS reimbursement frameworks is considered a strong advantage.
- Prior experience within early-stage startups or rapidly scaling health technology organizations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end clinical operations across virtual care programs, ensuring high-quality patient experiences and operational efficiency at scale.
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing remote clinical teams, including nurses, exercise physiologists, and care coordinators.
- Develop and implement scalable clinical workflows, SOPs, quality assurance processes, and compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Define, monitor, and optimize clinical KPIs related to patient outcomes, adherence, engagement, safety, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, growth, and partnerships teams to improve care delivery systems and enhance the patient and clinician experience.
- Support successful implementation and expansion of programs within healthcare systems, hospital partners, and payer organizations.
- Serve as a key clinical leader and external stakeholder representative with health systems, insurers, and regulatory entities.
- Drive operational improvements through data analysis, process optimization, and continuous performance evaluation.
- Contribute to strategic planning and executive decision-making as a core member of the leadership team.
