Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Pharmacy, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, MA/MS, or equivalent in relevant scientific or health economics disciplines).
- 12+ years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, with substantial expertise in HEOR and outcomes research.
- Strong experience in evidence generation activities, including economic modeling, study design, clinical trial support, literature synthesis, data management, and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise working across global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in gene therapy, rare disease, and global HEOR environments strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–25% as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global HEOR strategies across pipeline and marketed programs to support clinical development, reimbursement, and market access objectives.
- Design, implement, and oversee HEOR studies, including cost-effectiveness models, budget impact analyses, burden-of-illness studies, retrospective analyses, and indirect treatment comparisons.
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical development, medical affairs, market access, epidemiology, commercial, and biostatistics teams to align evidence generation strategies and key HEOR deliverables.
- Identify evidence gaps and develop innovative data generation plans to support reimbursement and access across global markets.
- Provide strategic HEOR guidance and scientific input for clinical programs, integrated evidence plans, regulatory documents, and reimbursement submissions.
- Act as an internal HEOR subject matter expert, influencing decision-making and leading collaborative research partnerships.
- Represent the organization at scientific congresses, professional forums, and external stakeholder meetings.
- Support global market access initiatives through robust evidence generation and strategic insights focused on rare diseases and advanced therapies.
