Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles
- Strong expertise in networking fundamentals, including routing, segmentation, traffic management, and connectivity design
- Experience building and operating cloud networking systems using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Proven experience designing networking for containerized or distributed systems in production environments
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex, cross-system network issues in large-scale environments
- Experience working across multiple engineering teams to define and implement network architecture standards
- 3–5 years of experience in regulated, secure, or compliance-driven environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and distributed infrastructure ecosystems such as Amazon Web Services
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service connectivity models
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of network architectures spanning cloud, on-premise, and isolated environments
- Define and implement routing, segmentation, and connectivity models to ensure secure and reliable system communication
- Design networking for containerized and distributed systems, supporting service discovery and inter-service communication
- Collaborate with infrastructure and enterprise operations teams to implement routing policies, firewall rules, and network boundaries
- Establish observability, monitoring, and debugging frameworks to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
- Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure network designs meet regulatory and security requirements
- Identify and resolve systemic issues impacting latency, scalability, and reliability across distributed environments
- Mentor engineers and promote strong networking design and troubleshooting practices through hands-on guidance
