Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related fields
- Experience designing and operating network systems across cloud and non-cloud environments
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, segmentation, and traffic control
- Experience with cloud networking using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Experience designing networking for containerized or distributed systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across systems
- Experience working across team boundaries to design and implement network solutions
- 3–5 years of experience designing and operating systems in regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of network systems that span both cloud and isolated environments.
- Design networking for containerized systems to support inter-service communication and service discovery.
- Partner with Enterprise Ops to design and implement routing and firewall policies.
- Establish and improve network observability and debugging.
- Partner with Cybersecurity and Infosec to design connectivity and access boundaries.
- Identify and resolve systemic issues affecting reliability, latency, and scalability.
- Mentor engineers and drive adoption of strong network design and debugging practices.
