Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Security Operations, Cloud Security, or Blue Team environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS security services.
- At least 3 years of experience in fintech or regulated industries (SOC 2, PCI DSS).
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix, networking, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Github Actions, and Serverless Framework.
- Experience with AWS security tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, GuardDuty).
- Understanding of SIEM, log analytics, EDR, and Vault secrets management.
- Familiarity with Docker and ECS containerization.
- Ability to lead cloud security incident response and recovery.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day security operations across AWS-based cloud and serverless infrastructures.
- Design, build, and optimize security detections, SIEM rules, SOAR automations, and detection-as-code initiatives.
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, software supply chain security, and secure development lifecycle practices.
- Conduct infrastructure hardening, IAM optimization, and policy-as-code implementation.
- Collaborate with DevOps on identity management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
- Coordinate end-to-end vulnerability management and compliance reporting for SOC 2 and PCI DSS.
- Develop internal security tooling and low-friction integrations.
- Define and communicate security metrics, KPIs, and risk reports.
- Participate in architecture reviews and threat modeling.
- Mentor engineers and promote a security-first culture.
