Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in software engineering or platform engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience designing scalable cloud-native services, APIs, and microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and distributed systems infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, observability, and automated testing.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices, APIs, and distributed platform systems using Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Architect cloud-native solutions across AWS environments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and modern distributed systems patterns.
- Build and optimize data architectures leveraging PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and real-time or batch-processing pipelines.
- Develop event-driven systems, RESTful APIs, and message queue integrations that support enterprise-scale logistics and supply chain operations.
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices related to coding standards, automated testing, monitoring, and observability.
- Lead code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and serve as a technical escalation point.
- Produce clear technical documentation including architecture decisions and API specifications.
- Collaborate with product management and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers across the organization on software design, engineering standards, and career development.
