Requirements
- 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or technology-driven environments
- Strong full stack development skills with the ability to independently deliver production-ready systems
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and modern frontend frameworks
- Backend API development experience
- Experience working with service-oriented architectures, microservices, or monolith-to-services transitions
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system design principles
- Ability to own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to performance and scalability
- Familiarity with modern development practices including CI/CD, testing strategies, and code reviews
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and product teams
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack features across frontend and backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Contribute to the decomposition of a monolithic architecture into service-oriented and microservices-based systems
- Build and maintain Node.js services and APIs that integrate with distributed systems and external interfaces
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to refine requirements and deliver high-impact customer-facing features
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and cross-team engineering discussions
- Support platform scaling initiatives and help improve system performance, reliability, and observability
- Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD improvements
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production issues to ensure system stability
