Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT with strong focus on Atlassian administration and engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Jira and Confluence administration.
- Experience working with Atlassian Data Center and Cloud environments.
- Proven expertise in Atlassian Cloud migration projects including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA, CCMA), APIs, and related utilities.
- Strong understanding of user management, permissions, workflows, and system customizations.
- Knowledge of data integrity, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during migration activities.
- Ability to assess complex environments and define end-to-end migration strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience documenting technical processes, standards, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and support Atlassian Data Center to Cloud migrations across Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket environments.
- Perform detailed environment assessments, risk analysis, and migration readiness evaluations.
- Execute pre-migration activities including data cleanup, validation, and system optimization.
- Ensure smooth cutover and minimal downtime during production migration events.
- Provide post-migration support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
- Define and implement migration strategies, tools, and frameworks aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with business needs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation covering migration processes, standards, and lessons learned.
- Support UAT cycles and production rollout activities.
- Continuously identify process improvements and optimize migration methodologies.
