Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in a PMO Manager or PMO Director role within a large enterprise, matrixed organization.
- Strong expertise in project management methodologies including Agile and PMBOK frameworks.
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects with technical delivery components.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project performance analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, teams, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with a hands-on management approach.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or Microsoft Project are strongly preferred (minimum two required).
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities, technologies, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the PMO, ensuring effective delivery of project management services across a portfolio of technical initiatives.
- Lead and manage a remote team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and contractual obligations, maintaining strong governance and delivery discipline.
- Track performance metrics and project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks while escalating issues appropriately to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Apply project management methodologies (Agile, PMBOK) to ensure structured and consistent execution across programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices while reinforcing a customer-focused, results-oriented culture.
