Requirements
- Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Washington DC.
- Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
- Availability to work 2 evenings per week until 8pm.
- Enthusiastic and strong team player.
- Ability to effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
- Experience in Family-Based Treatment or eating disorder treatment is a plus.
- Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation or trauma is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders.
- Implement FBT, CBT-E, and other evidence-based treatments.
- Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, including 20-26 hours of direct care.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients.
- Engage in treatment team meetings and supervision.
- Maintain licensure in home state and obtain others as requested.
