Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience focused on infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, CNCF landscape).
- Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or Python.
- 2+ years of experience acting as a technical lead mentoring engineers.
- Proven experience designing high-performance, highly available distributed systems.
- Deep familiarity with message brokers like NATS or Kafka.
- Experience building or customizing Kubernetes operators, controllers, or platform primitives.
- Operational experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of taking complex infrastructure projects from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design patterns and infrastructure for a rapidly growing Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Drive architectural shifts at the routing layer, including ingress controllers and API gateways.
- Lead enterprise-scale secrets management and security posture improvements.
- Spearhead the evolution of the observability stack, including OpenTelemetry adoption.
- Build high-volume logging pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Architect platform capabilities for real-time and AI-agentic workloads.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for production incidents.
- Shape the team's technical direction and roadmap without a Product Manager.
