Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 2-5 years of work experience in software industry and application support experience
- Knowledge of telecom billing solutions, rating and charging systems, Interconnect Billing
- Experience with system monitoring and ITSM processes
- Experience documenting support plans, support strategy, and support cases
- Experience with Unix/Linux basics and databases (Oracle, MySQL)
- Proficiency in English in a business environment
- Knowledge of common scripting languages (Perl, Python, Groovy, Ruby, bash)
Responsibilities
- Perform first cut basic analysis via predefined SOPs
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Manage workflow from start to finish based on customer SLA
- Engage with customers and L2/L3 for functional or technical malfunctions
- Document operational and system architecture processes
- Identify automation opportunities
- Participate in Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
